Job Description
Oracle Off Campus Drive Freshers Hiring for Associate Software Engineer : Oracle Cerner is excited to hire an Associate Software Engineer/Software Developer 1. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and modifying CCL scripts, participating in code reviews, debugging software, and documenting processes. This position supports AMS clients and plays a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction by meeting contractual obligations. As part of the software engineering division, you will enhance existing software, gather project requirements, participate in technical design discussions, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success. The role may also involve on-call support for clients and participating in software release support.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and modify CCL scripts, ensuring high-quality code
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and documenting processes
- Apply changes and fixes to resolve issues in the software
- Gather requirements, plan, and execute tasks effectively
- Collaborate with stakeholders, handle client calls, and ensure requirements are met
- Engage in technical design discussions and component-level collaborations
- Perform root cause analysis and provide resolutions
- Identify and suggest improvements to development and operations processes
- Support software releases and updates
- Gain understanding of healthcare workflows and the Millennium data model
Skills and Requirement
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or related fields
- Required Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, PL-SQL, Database Management Systems
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration, communication, attention to detail, adaptability, time management, and a continuous learning mindset
- Good to Have: Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power Insight, Business Object), CCL, and knowledge of healthcare workflows
- Other Skills: Data analysis, data processing, and experience with MySQL and programming languages
- Willingness to work additional or irregular hours as needed
