Goldman Sachs Off Campus Drive Hiring As Associate Software Engineer As a Software Engineer – Associate in the Developer Productivity team, you will be part of a group dedicated to building cutting-edge tools that enhance the efficiency and experience of developers within Goldman Sachs. You will work with AI-driven tools and improve the key developer environments used by engineers to ensure high productivity, coding efficiency, and seamless workflows. This role offers an opportunity to develop enterprise-scale technology solutions and apply your skills in areas like cloud platforms, machine learning, and real-time systems.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly scalable software systems in real-time environments.
- Innovate and improve platforms by incorporating AI, machine learning, and cloud technologies to uplift the developer experience.
- Develop and maintain RESTful web services to ensure smooth integrations and functionality.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve technical and business problems using modern workflows.
- Work with relational (SQL, Postgres) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch) for optimal data storage and management.
- Engage in end-to-end design and software product implementation, ensuring high availability and mission-critical operation.
- Stay updated with CI/CD, DevOps, and SRE principles and practices to ensure efficient development pipelines.
- Learn from and collaborate with an expert global team dedicated to mentoring and coaching future technology leaders.
Requirement and Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in relevant software development roles.
- Strong programming expertise in Java, Python, and/or Golang.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL, Postgres, or non-relational databases like MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
- Experience developing RESTful web services.
- Passion for building highly available and mission-critical systems.
- Experience in end-to-end software design and implementation.
- Analytical thinking, creativity, and a focus on delivering commercial solutions.
- Strong communication skills for working within global teams.
