Job Description
FloBiz Off Campus Drive Hiring For SDE 1 – Backend Engineer As an SDE-1 Backend Engineer at FloBiz, you will be working with data to drive growth and execute strategic projects. Your role will involve building and maintaining data pipelines, implementing conversion tracking, and optimizing growth efforts across various platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and make a significant impact on user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth..
Role and Responsibilities
- Data Integration:
- Develop and maintain server-to-server data pipelines to integrate backend systems with platforms such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, and Google Ads.
- Event Tracking and Analytics:
- Implement event-based analytics and conversion tracking on key platforms, ensuring accurate measurement of marketing campaigns and user behaviors.
- Monitoring & Optimization:
- Continuously monitor data flows and marketing performance, identifying opportunities for improvements and automation across channels.
- Growth Tools Integration:
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to integrate third-party growth tools and automation platforms, enhancing marketing, sales, and analytics processes.
- Web Optimization:
- Design and implement tests to optimize landing pages, user flows, and other critical touchpoints, including A/B testing and feature evaluations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with product and marketing teams to identify, design, and execute growth strategies aimed at driving user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
Requirement and Skills
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience:
- 1 year of core software engineering experience in a startup environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby on Rails.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and a growth-oriented mindset.
- Other Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment focused on testing, learning, and optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
