Job Description
Siemens Off Campus Drive Hiring System EngineerThe System Engineer will be responsible for the design and engineering of Control, Protection, and Substation Automation Systems. This role encompasses the full project design lifecycle, including understanding client requirements, preparing detailed design documentation, securing design approvals, and coordinating with the factory and project teams for successful execution.
Role and Responsibilities
- System Design and Engineering:
- Design engineering for Control, Protection, and Automation systems/panels across multiple voltage levels.
- Develop and prepare detailed design documentation including control and protection layouts, schematics, bill of materials, and configuration architecture using CAD systems.
- Project Management and Coordination:
- Communicate with customers to resolve queries and secure approval for design documentation.
- Initiate loading requests to the factory for material procurement, fabrication, and system wiring.
- Provide support to sales, factory, and commissioning teams as required for successful project execution.
Requirement and Skills
- Educational Qualifications:
- Fresh graduates with M.Tech/B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Diploma holders in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with relevant experience are also eligible.
- Technical and Professional Skills:
- Strong understanding of engineering principles related to control, protection, and automation systems.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CAD software for preparing engineering drawings and documentation is an advantage.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Critical thinking, quality consciousness, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow.
