Job Description
Micron Off Campus Drive Hiring Associate Software Engineer The Associate Software Engineer – IT will join the Business Data & Analytics Team within Micron’s Enterprise Applications department. This role involves working closely with business units to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that enhance business intelligence and analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data, possess strong problem-solving skills, and show a keen interest in data automation and advanced analytics.
Role and Responsibilities
- Data Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and debug SSIS packages, SAP HANA models, and data flows for the data warehouse.
- Participate in the design, development, and deployment of data warehouse data models.
- Data Analytics and Reporting:
- Collect and interpret data, analyze the results, and report findings using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
- Identify patterns and trends in datasets and collaborate with business units to define data collection and analysis processes.
- Collaboration and Issue Resolution:
- Work closely with business partners and other IT teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Resolve operational and business partner issues promptly, taking into account business priorities.
- Automation and Development Support:
- Develop automation solutions to streamline development processes.
- Collaborate with data engineers to build pipelines for deploying ETL packages and database objects.
- Design, develop, and deploy automated database testing solutions.
Requirement and Skills
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
- CGPA requirement: 7.0 or above.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with databases, ETL tools, and data modeling.
- Understanding of programming languages and scripting is a plus.
- Experience with DevOps/DataOps concepts is beneficial.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
